How to get to the Garça Branca

Goa is geographically located, looking out onto the Arabian Sea, on the west coast of India, just 600 kms south of Bombay – (now called Mumbai). It is a tiny state 136km x 50 km, endowed with endless beaches, picturesque mountains and greenery, backwaters, fertile lowlands and a tropical climate. This idyllic retreat is easy to reach by international air flights, domestic air flights, fast trains, air-conditioned luxury coaches and by sea.

International Air:

All the major airlines of the world touch down in and take off from Bombay or Delhi or Calcutta. During the tourist season, which runs from November to April, a large number of Charter carriers connect directly to Goa (Dabolim) from London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris and other hubs in Europe.

Domestic Air:

National flying is provided by a number of carriers and Goa (Dabolim) is reached very easily from Bombay, Delhi, Bangalore, Cochin, Calcutta and Chennai.

Fast trains:

India probably has the most extensive rail transport system in the world. Goa is effectively serviced within this system and is easily reached from anywhere North, East and South.

By Road:

All nature of buses and coaches connect to Goa from points North, East and South. Within this choice you can also avail of extra-comfortable, luxury and air-conditioned sleeper coaches. The national highways are all tarred and maintained for comfortable travel.

By Sea:

By domestic ship and catamaran from Bombay to Goa (Panjim). By international cruise ships to the international port of Goa (Marmagoa).
